Negative: There was no elevator, so I had to lug my 50 pound bag up the stairs. The remote to the TV didn’t really work. There was absolutely zero breakfast option. Zero. Not even a muffin in a wrapper. Not even a water. I was told I could take a cuppa noodle up to my room and microwave it if I wanted to purchase one for breakfast.

Negative: Closest shops are not so close unless you have a car.

Positive: The lobby lady helped me get some food from the vending machine but the only food was in a canteen in the lobby -- my room was at the other end of the hotel parking lot. I was next to airport so the planes taking off could not be helped in sound, windows rattling etc. I don't blame them for that.
Negative: I just needed a place to stay overnight as my planes were delayed over 5 times on east coast due to weather. I don't like that for me with time zone changes I ultimately ended up in the hotel after 1am PT but was closer to 4 am ET for me. That meant little time spent in the hotel and had to pay full price. The other thing is I never did know when checkout was in time so just left early. It was very brief. I did not realize either as a negative point that the RED LION was part of three hotel chains behind a gated entrance down a one way service road. My GPS kept telling me I was there but I was around the block in a field so had to circle back to get to the entrance gate. The fee for parking is a surprise at $10 a day. I had the ticket validated in order to exit the lot. I just felt it was a bit of a last resort hotel and not sure I would do again with alternatives. I would have liked better coffee and tea options in the room. For over $100 cost for a few hours to daylight - was not the best value but was safe and did the job so I could cross travel on the roads when daybreak. It was just a safety thing for me because I live two hours from airport and did not want to drive at night after all day in air and airports.
